Chef Vanessa HUANG, Taiwanese who studied in France since 2002, major in film making and art, but always curious about French gastronomy and desserts. After finished her culinary program in “Ferrandi Paris, school of culinary arts”, she started working with chef Pascal BARBOT in Astrance (Michelin 3 stars rated restaurant). In 2014, she returned to Taiwan and opened her own restaurant “Ephernité”, and the second bistrot restaurant 187BDSG in 2017.

In 2015, Business Weekly TAIWAN has described Vanessa as one of the most potential chefs of Modern French Cuisine in Taiwan together with three famous local chefs. The same year, in an article of French media “Omnivore World Tour FRANCE” Vanessa HUANG has been nominated together with 24 Michelin starred chefs worldwide as one of the “Bebes BARBOT”, future culinary new stars trained by Chef Pascal BARBOT.
