From Fukuoka, Japan, this is Chef Fukuyama’s training began in high school, with French cuisine. In 1989, he
started as a trainee at Ile De France. In 2002, Chef Fukuyama opened La Maison de la Nature Goh in
Fukuoka, featuring seasonal and regional ingredients from Kyushu in an omakase style, or chef’s choice.
Chef Fukuyama’s philosophy is to make the best dishes with the best ingredients, and welcome customers
with a smile no matter how busy he is.
